The PNP Security Agencies and Guards Supervision Division has now conceptualized general guidelines, rules and procedures on private security agency canine service providers. This department aims to regulate the quality of working canines, such as bomb sniffer dogs, attach dogs, patrol dogs, etc. Liscensing of canine-handler teams are currently being implemented by the Department. Each canine-handler team must undergo an evaluation test to ensure that the team is fit for deployment. A liscensed handler for one dog does not mean that he is liscensed to handle other canines unless he has undergone the same evaluation with the 2nd or 3rd working canine. To prevent switching of canines that have passed through evaluation, PNP has required that all working canines be identified by VetAID microchips. Currently, only VetAID microchips have been accredited by the PNP.
Developed by a veterinarian. This technology is perfect for prevention of identify switching as well as for theft or lost pet disputes. And because it is injectable, it takes only seconds to administer. Each microchip contains a very unique 15 digit identification number. Being ISO certified, our microchips are recognized worldwide. We assure you that our microchips can be read by ISO certified scanners, making it hassle-free when traveling with your pet.
to read the microchip through the skin of the animal. The animal feels nothing as the chip's number quickly appears in the scanner's viewing screen. Once scanned, a database may be made to provide vital information such as vaccines, owner information, pet information, etc.
